Two Christmas Chorales

Nicolai composed two hymns that are so beloved that they are known as the King and Queen of Chorales: Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme (Awake, the Voice Is Calling Us) and Wie schoen leuchtet der Morgenstern (How Beautiful the Morning Star). Using harmonizations by Johann Sebastian Bach, Gene Milford has crafted a superlative concert and teaching piece for players of all ages.
