Description
John Cheetham is professor emeritus at the University of Missouri-Columbia where he has taught classes in music theory and composition since 1969. Keystone Celebration was commissioned by the Summit Brass through the Missouri Arts Council and premiered by that group in 1989. The title was inspired by the annual Keystone Brass Institute hosted by Summit Brass in Keystone, Colorado.
