Inspired by ancient Northern European and Scandinavian fiddle music, Battle paints a picture of war long ago while also reflecting on the frustration and challenges of the current world. Soon Hee Newbold uses a wealth of exciting string effects, including col legno, fingerboard slaps, snap pizzicato, and more. Optional percussion helps create an amazing sonic landscape! (4:40)
