This imaginative elementary solo is written in Middle C position in 4/4 meter. Clever lyrics describe the secrets an old house might have---why the sofa has bubble gum on it, why there is a hole in the wall behind the dresser and what about that purple stain on the carpet? This piece could be used as a springboard for students to compose a piece about their house. The optional teacher accompaniment will help beginning students keep a steady tempo.
