Description

High spirited and patriotic, this Grade 2 piece features two famous songs from the Revolutionary War. A slow, lyrical chorale on "Chester" begins the piece, followed by a rousing rendition of "Yankee Doodle." The two songs are then cleverly combined with high strings on "Chester" and low strings on "Yankee Doodle" in augmentation. This makes a great concert-closer your students and audience will love!
