"Living Extra Large" by Brent Fischer is a hard-driving big band jazz arrangement for the clarinet family! Playable by college or advanced high school musicians, the scoring features the use of the augmented scale as the basis for building diatonic or chromatic melodic structures. Subtle harmonic changes seem deceptively simple, but will keep soloists on their toes. Arranged for eight clarinets, piano, bass, and drums.
