Description

Clare Fischer's "Strayhorn" is a feature that includes a completely written-out solo piano part so that it can also be played by good classically-trained musicians with little jazz experience. Jazz pianists are invited to improvise the solo. First trumpet goes to C (2 ledger lines above staff). Arranged for big band by Bill Dobbins.
