Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass, Piano — Written in the nineteenth century, the words of Henry Ramsden Bramley lend themselves nicely to Tom Fettke's new anthem for Christmas services. The piece is written as such to feature the words of the text prominently, with gentle harmonies and a hymn-like middle section, finishing with four-part harmony. Appropriate for Christmas Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmastide services.
