Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass, Piano — Christmas Star opens with an excerpt from the carol "We Three Kings," and moves into an anthem devoted to the proclamation of Jesus as the Christmas Star. Beginning a cappella and exploring a gorgeous four-part harmony, the piece ends with a call-and-response pattern. This piece can be used in the Christmas season, as well as during Epiphany.
